Sourcing Real Fruit

No concentrates. No syrups.

Every batch starts with whole fruit β€” fresh apples, peaches, and botanicals sourced from trusted regional growers. We don't use concentrate or synthetic flavour compounds. If it doesn't come from the fruit itself, it doesn't go in the can.

Our apple variety is chosen for its high natural acidity and bright finish. Our peach tea base is cold-brewed before blending, which preserves the floral top notes of the tea and keeps the fruit flavour clean.

No Added Sugars

Sweetness the way nature intended.

We add no sugars beyond what the fruit provides β€” no high-fructose corn syrup, no erythritol, no aspartame. The sweetness in every can comes directly from real fruit. Clean, natural, and nothing synthetic.

Our fruit ratio is calibrated per flavour. Apple Soda uses a slightly leaner fruit profile to let the natural acidity shine through. Every ratio went through over 40 taste iterations before we locked it.

Water & Mineral Balance

Water is 90% of your soda. We treat it that way.

Our water goes through a multi-stage filtration and re-mineralisation process before blending. We add trace minerals back in precise amounts β€” magnesium and calcium β€” because stripped water tastes flat, and flat water makes flat soda.

This step is largely invisible, but it's why Neon Soda has a rounded mouthfeel rather than the harsh bite of many carbonated drinks. The minerals act as natural flavour carriers.

Cold Blending

No heat. Flavour preserved.

We blend our fruit extracts, sugar, and mineral water at controlled low temperatures. Heat kills delicate volatile aromatics β€” the compounds responsible for the bright, fresh top-note of fruit. Cold blending locks them in.

The entire blending process happens below 8Β°C. This is slower and more energy-intensive than standard hot blending, but the taste difference is measurable. Blind taste tests consistently favour cold-blended sodas for their 'fresh' character.

Carbonation

Fine bubbles, not aggressive fizz.

Carbonation level is as important as flavour. Too much COβ‚‚ and the drink is aggressive β€” it masks the fruit. Too little and it feels flat and sweet. We carbonate to a precise volume range per flavour, dialled in for how each formula actually tastes.

Apple Soda is carbonated slightly higher than Peach Tea β€” an intentional choice to mirror the natural crispness of biting into an apple. Pandan Soda, when it launches, will be the most gently carbonated of the three β€” softer, more floral, true to the ingredient.

Small-Batch Canning

Brewed in Hong Kong. Small runs, high standards.

Every production run is a small batch. This isn't artisan posturing β€” it's a quality control decision. Smaller batches mean every can is filled from a fresher mix, QA is more granular, and we can iterate flavour between batches faster.

Each batch is hold-tested before release. Cans are stored for 72 hours post-fill before any are approved for distribution. Any batch that doesn't pass internal taste QA is not released β€” full stop.

Does Neon Soda contain artificial sweeteners?

No. We use no artificial sweeteners, stevia, monk fruit, or sugar alcohols β€” none. What you taste is real fruit, nothing synthetic.

How long does Neon Soda stay fresh?

Unopened, our cans have a 12-month shelf life from production date. Once opened, drink within 24 hours and keep refrigerated. We don't use preservatives, so treat it like fresh juice in a can.

Is Neon Soda brewed in Hong Kong?

Yes β€” our production facility is based in Hong Kong. Blending, carbonation, and canning all happen here. We are not white-labelling a product from overseas and slapping a HK brand on it.

What makes Neon Soda different from other craft sodas?

Most 'craft' sodas use natural flavours (which is a legally vague term that can include lab-derived aromatics). We use real fruit extraction. Our water is re-mineralised. And we cold-blend β€” most sodas are hot-blended because it’s faster. We think that matters.

Is Neon Soda suitable for vegans?

Yes. All current flavours are vegan-friendly. No animal-derived ingredients are used at any stage of production. (Some fruits may have been harmed in the process.)

What is the calorie count?

Apple Soda: approximately 110 kcal per 330ml can. Peach Tea Soda: approximately 95 kcal per 330ml can. These numbers come from natural fruit extractions β€” there are no 'empty' sweetener calories, just honest energy from fruit.
